 Collection of Personal Information 

We collect personal information from you, which may include information about your:

  • interactions with us

We collect, use and disclose personal information only for the purpose (the “primary purpose”) for which it is provided to us which may include: 

  • Provision of any requested services;

  • For internal administration and operational purposes such as preventing fraud and abuse of our systems and to troubleshoot bugs;

We will not use or disclose personal information for any secondary purpose, unless we have gained consent to that use or disclosure; or individuals would reasonably expect the use or disclosure in the circumstances, and that secondary purpose is related to the primary purpose for which we have collected that information. Except as set out in this Privacy Policy (or as required for by any statutory or legal requirements), we do not share, sell, rent or otherwise disclose personal information to third parties. 

Besides our staff, under certain circumstances, we may share this information with:  

  • Our business partners, third party contractors in order to perform functions or provide services relating to the purposes for which we collect personal information..  
  • Law Enforcement or regulatory authorities, within and outside of New Zealand in order to if required by law.  

 

Cookies Internet Users 

In addition to personal information, we use data collection devices such as “cookies” on certain web pages or other services to help analyse our web page flow and measure promotional effectiveness. Cookies are pieces of information a website or mobile application sends to an individual’s hard drive while they are viewing websites or using a mobile application. Cookies allow the website or application to remember important information that makes the visit to the site more useful. We use cookies to help improve future visits. Individuals who do not wish to receive a cookie or wish to set your browser to warn each time a cookie is being sent, or wish to turn off all cookies, may use the options in their browser to assist them. 

Links to other websites 

Some of our services (e.g. our website) may contain links to third party websites for individual’s convenience and information. We do not control those sites or their privacy practices. We do not endorse or make any representations about third party websites. The personal data individuals choose to give to unrelated third parties is not covered by this Privacy Policy. We encourage individuals to review the privacy policy of any company or web site before submitting personal information. Some third parties may choose to share their personal data with us, and that sharing is governed by that third party’s privacy policy. 

Storage, Retention and Accuracy of your Personal Information 

We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that personal information that we collect is safeguarded against loss, unauthorised access, unauthorised modification or other misuse, and to prevent unauthorised use or disclosure of Personal Information.  

Personal Information provided to us is stored in our secure systems with no access given to unauthorised users and is always encrypted in transit and in storage. We cannot guarantee the security of any data transmitted to us via the internet in unencrypted form. We will take reasonable steps to secure information transmitted to us physically, such as hard copy files.  

We will retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected and to comply with applicable laws and individuals consent to such purposes remains valid after termination of our relationship with them.  

We will take reasonable steps to ensure that any personal information we collect is accurate, up-to-date, complete, relevant and not misleading, and any personal information that we use or disclose is up-to-date, complete, accurate and relevant. 

You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong.
